Debbie is the Chief Executive with overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of the charity. Debbie works with the trustees and provides strategic direction and vision for NASS. She is passionate about raising the profile of AS. Debbie wants to engage with the whole AS community. You can follow her on Twitter @NASSchiefexec. Debbie blogs regularly to keep members informed of the work she does for NASS.
Sally is the Information and Communications Manager. She runs the Helpline for anyone who has questions about AS. She has responsibility for all patient and member information produced by NASS including AS News, E-News, patient guidebook and factsheets. She also manages the content on the NASS website.
Amardeep is our Supporter Engagement Manager. He is responsible for looking after all our supporters. He manages existing sources of income and identifies and secures new forms of funding to support the work of NASS and also looks after all of our fantastic fundraisers who take part in and organise events for us.
Jill is the Development Manager. She picks up and develops new projects such as our AS & You events, the Back to Action app and in 2017 will be working on the AS one project and Back Pain Plus. She also looks after policy and campaigning, engaging with local health services and continuing the AS it is campaign. In addition to this, Jill also looks after the 95+ branches around the UK.
Justyna is the Finance and Administration Manager and looks after all the day to day administration work including membership renewals and the shop. She also organises NASS attendance at events and looks after the finances. Justyna is usually on registration at NASS organised events and is likely to be the first person you will speak to when you ring the office.
