Great Swim Series events
The Great Swim series is Europe's biggest open water swim series. Staged in clean lakes, lochs and urban docks around the UK, and suitable for swimmers of all abilities, the swims give you the chance to dive into something unique!
Swimming in the shadow of the 02 Arena and Canary Wharf, join the Great Newham London Swim (date TBC) for an urban open water swimming experience like no other! Poppy Hocken and her family took part in both the 2014 and 2015 Great Newham London Swims, and raised a fantastic £1,800! Poppy shared her story - and we hope it inspires you to take the plunge!
The Great North Swim is Europe's biggest open water swimming event, with over 10,000 participants taking part in two 10km events over three days. Head along to the stunning surroundings of the Lake District on 9 June 2017 for NASS!
Set in the beautiful Alton Water reservoir, take part in the Great East Swim on 17 June 2017 and enjoy the unspoilt outdoors and discover award winning beaches. With four distances to choose from (half a mile, 1 mile, 2 miles and 5k), this event has something for all levels.
Held in the majestic surroundings of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, 40 minutes drive from Glasgow city centre, the Great Scottish Swim has three beautiful options to choose from - half a mile, 1 mile and 2 miles. Taking place on 26 August 2017.
Staged in the vibrant Salford Quays, the Great Manchester Swim is a unique 'dock to dock' course. The course begins in Dock 9 near The Lowry and MediaCityUK, traverses Mariners Canal and finishes one mile away at Dock 8. Date to be confirmed.
