You can call the NASS Helpline on 020 8741 1515 between 09:00 and 12:00 Monday to Friday.

The Helpline is run by Sally and Matthew.

Sally is the best person to contact for all your medical and lifestyle questions, while Matthew is the best person to chat to about state benefits and work.

Out of hours or if the line is busy you can leave a message on the answer phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively you can always email either Sally or Matthew.

We receive a very wide range of calls and when relevant information or detailed knowledge is not available, we will always try and find good evidence-based information from other sources, and give details of the best organisation to help you, perhaps with more in-depth knowledge and experience on a particular topic.

Callers need to be aware that we have no medical training and so unfortunately are not able to answer specific medical questions.  In such circumstances we always refer callers to their rheumatology team or GP. We can also approach NASS Medical Advisors for help with more complex issues
