The Edgar Stene Prize Competition 2012 has now been launched. The essay title this year is:
"Overcoming the challenges of getting around with a rheumatic or musculoskeletal disease"
Entrants should explain how they overcome challenges of moving around in their own house, how they get to work, how they participate in social life such as meeting with friends and family or how they go to the cinema or on holidays.
Competitors should submit an essay not exceeding 2 pages (A4) in their national language to sarahrich@arma.uk.net by 31 December 2011.
A jury will select the 2012 winner which will be announced by 15 March 2012.
Entrants need to be aged 16+ and have a rheumatic or musculoskeletal disease such as AS.
There is a prixze of € 2 000 and the winner will win travel and hotel accomodation to Berlin and hotel accommodation in Berlin for up to 4 nights as well as an invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the EULAR Congress and gala dinner.
