Physical branch meetings are currently cancelled due to COVID-19. However there are virtual activities being run by some branches. Please contact your local branch for more information.

We hope you find the information on these pages helpful. Our team is working tirelessly to provide up to date advice in relation to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic. Record numbers of people are now turning to NASS for support, and we hope to be here for everyone. Our helpline and advice service are only possible thanks to donations from people like you.

If you are able to make a donation to NASS today, we'd be so grateful.

Fundraising - Community - Team NASS Lineup

Being part of a group or club gives you the opportunity to get fellow members involved in a great cause. There are so many ways to get everyone involved and to help raise awareness for people with axial SpA (AS). If you are part of a club or group, find out more about how to get involved.

Involve your local community

Start off by telling your group about NASS, and about your link to/experience of axial SpA. Perhaps your group have a regular fundraiser, and you could nominate NASS to benefit, or maybe you could work with people to put on an event specifically for NASS?

  • Are you a member of a music/performance group like a choir, band or amateur dramatics society? If so, you could put on a concert or a performance and donate the proceeds raised to NASS to support us with offering our services to people with axial SpA (AS)
    • If you are part of a sports club, could you organise a fundraising tournament, or perhaps your team could get sponsored to wear orange for a match and raise funds for NASS
    • No matter what club or group you belong to, you can get your fellow members involved in one of these easy and fun events:
  • Cake/bake sale
  • Coffee morning
  • Quiz night
  • Party or themed dinner
  • Raffle
  • Hold a bric-a-brac sale

These are just some examples of the small yet effective ways, you can make a huge difference for people with axial SpA (AS).

If you have an idea of your own, we’d love to hear about it and get involved! Get in touch with us to talk to Katie or Fareen today.
