Harbourside Physiotherapy offers NASS affiliated group hydrotherapy sessions.
Cost: £55 for a 6 block of sessions.
There is a 45 minute group hydrotherapy session each Tuesday at 16:00 and on Thursday at 16:00. These sessions are only for people with a diagnosis of axial spondyloarthritis. Up to 6 people can attend each session.
The facility has level access and is wheelchair friendly with accessible toilet and changing facilities. For changing there are individual cubicles and open changing. There are steps with a handrail to access the pool along with a hoist if required.
Sessions are run by Andy, who has been working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for 16 years, routinely assessing, treating and managing patients with rheumatological conditions.
The 45-minute hydrotherapy session includes mobility and stretching, cardiovasular and strengthening circuits and relaxation. The sessions are designed to be fun and enjoyable.
This is an affiliated NASS group and not a NASS branch. This means you will be covered under Harbourside Physiotherapy insurance and their policies and procedures.
