Harbourside Physiotherapy offers NASS affiliated group hydrotherapy sessions.
Cost: £55 for a 6 block of sessions.
There are two, 45 minute group hydrotherapy sessions each Thursday. These sessions are only for people with a diagnosis of axial spondyloarthritis. Up to 6 people can attend each session.
The facility has level access and is wheelchair friendly with accessible toilet and changing facilities. For changing there are individual cubicles and open changing. There are steps with a handrail to access the pool along with a hoist if required.
Sessions are run by a specialist physiotherapist who previously worked at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases as a Specialist Physiotherapist in Rheumatology and MSK Physiotherapy. She has also helped run NASS branch sessions.
The 45-minute hydrotherapy session includes mobility and stretching, cardiovasular and strengthening circuits and relaxation. The sessions are designed to be fun and enjoyable.
This is an affiliated NASS group and not a NASS branch. This means you will be covered under Harbourside Physiotherapy insurance and their policies and procedures.
