Physical branch meetings are currently cancelled due to COVID-19. However there are virtual activities being run by some branches. Please contact your local branch for more information.

We hope you find the information on these pages helpful. Our team is working tirelessly to provide up to date advice in relation to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic. Record numbers of people are now turning to NASS for support, and we hope to be here for everyone. Our helpline and advice service are only possible thanks to donations from people like you.

If you are able to make a donation to NASS today, we'd be so grateful.

NASS South Lakes

Cost £5 per session.

The area the South Lakes covers is from Flookburgh and Coniston in the west to Carnforth in the south; Kirkby Lonsdale in the East, and Grasmere and the Langdale Vally in the north.

The hydrotherapy Pool in Kendal can accept 12 people in the pool at any one time, and we have a qualified Physiotherapist in the pool with us.

Jeff also sends a monthly email to all those who register and covers the various aspects of AS and living with it. Because of the area we live in many of those who have AS find it difficult to attend all the Group Meetings.

If you want any more details then please phone Jeff Pimblett or send him a text

Please note – you must have a current UK diagnosis of Axial Spondyloarthritis (including Ankylosing Spondylitis) or a related Spondyloarthropathy to take part in any NASS exercise activity.
