Weekly axial SpA (AS) clinic. The clinic is run every Monday afternoon at Russells Hall Hospital. Referrals to this clinic are generally made from internal sources.
The rheumatologists with an interest in axial SpA (AS) is Dr Adrian V Pace.
The department serves a population of just under 500,000 people. It is a friendly and efficient team consisting of 7 consultants and several members of a strong multidisciplinary team. There is also an active research department who are engaged in education of medical students and doctors at all levels of training.
The team also covers Corbett Hospital.
The department are currently planning to set up an MDT clinic for SpA in the near future.
