Welcome to our new CEO

NASS is delighted to welcome Dr. Dale Webb as our new CEO. Dale is passionate about improving health and healthcare, and over the last 25 years he has worked in the NHS, in health research and in health related charities.

Dale says:

“It’s a real privilege to be joining NASS as its CEO. I have been so impressed by the impact that this organisation has made – NASS is committed to building a community of AS supporters right across the UK, to improving people’s health and well being, and influencing clinical guidelines and practice.

I look forward to building on the excellent legacy of outgoing CEO Debbie Cook. We will continue our efforts to ensure people with AS get diagnosed as early as possible and, wherever they live, they get access to the treatment and therapy that has been set out by NICE. We will continue to provide vital information and support to people living with AS and ensure that we are doing all that we can to help people manage their condition effectively.

AS is a painful, chronic condition that can severely affect someone’s quality of life. But many people do not know what AS is. That’s why we will work even harder to bring AS to the attention of the general public, funders, clinicians and care planners. I look forward to working alongside you, and to hearing your thoughts about how NASS can best support people living with AS.

I'd love to hear your thoughts so please do get in contact."
