Cost: £2 per session
We are a group of around 10 people who are guided by a physiotherapist with an interest in axial SpA (AS). We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 19:00 in the North Manchester General Hospital physiotherapy department.
We warm up with a little exercise for about 20 minutes and then for the next 40 minutes with stretches. We round it off for those who like a laugh with a game of bad volleyball.
Members find the opportunity to meet with and talk to others living with axial SpA (AS) especially valuable. Members also have the opportunity to discuss any concerns they may have with the supervising physiotherapist.
Please note that you must have a UK diagnosis of axial spondyloarthritis (Axial SpA) or ankylosing spondylitis (AS) to attend this branch.
