NASS 5-a-side football tournaments

Every year, former treasurer and trustee and long-standing member of the Fundraising Committee, Danny McFarlane, supports NASS by running a 5-a-side football tournament at Powerleague Vauxhall to raise funds for people living with axial SpA.

For each event, we aim to recruit 10-14 teams from different London-based companies and businesses to take part for a fun Friday afternoon of football, in exchange for an entrance fee serving as a donation to NASS.

Everything you need is provided on the day, including:

• An event manager
• 5-a-aside pitches
• FA Qualified Referees for all games
• Balls & bibs
• A fully engraved Winners Cup for the champions, 7 individual winners’ trophies and 7 runners’ up trophies, and team photos!

By taking part, your company/business is making a great impact and taking us one step closer to reducing the time to diagnosis and changing the future of axial SpA treatment and care. You are supporting our key services, ensuring that everyone affected by the condition receives the guidance, support and information that they need.

2025

2024

On Friday 27 September 2024, Danny and NASS organised the first ever NASS 5-a-side football tournament. 10 corporate companies generously took part and raised £13,500 for people living with axial SpA.
